Pele, regarded as the greatest footballer of all times passed away following a cancer battle. He took Brazil to three times world cup victory.

Anytime someone mentions soccer, it is very unlikely his name would not show up. Nothing less than legendary icon of the sport, he has helped Brazil win a record three world Cups overall. It was reported that Pele passed away following cancer suffering at the age of 82. As soon as the news came out #RipLegend started trending. He had long suffered from health issues because of the disease. However, he was reported to be recovering at one time, but later got readmitted to the hospital. It would not be an overstatement to mention Pele as the brand ambassador of Brazilian football. Pele won three World Cups, in 1958, 1962, and 1970. What made Pele one of the world’s best footballers of all times were his numerous records. There are many players that succeeded him such as Messi, Neymar and Ronaldo. Battling Poor health, Kidney and Heart Issues and Colon Tumor, Pele passed away

Pele’s poor health owing to his Colon Cancer and resulting complications led him to frequent hospital visits. Also, he was battling kidney and heart issues and was hospitalized since November with multiple ailments. With 77 goals in 92 games, he continues to be the top goal scorer for Brazil.
