According to family sources, Raju Srivastava passed away today morning in Delhi. His family confirmed the news.
Comedian Raju Srivastav passed away today at the age of 58. Confirming the news, his family informed one of the nations leading daily. Comedian’s brother Dipoo opened up on the sad news. According to the hospital sources, Raju passed away at 10.30 morning today. Those who paid the artists their tributes included Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, lyricist Manoj Muntashir and actor Nimrat Kaur, among others, paid tributes to Raju.

For the unversed, Raju suffered arrest while working out on a treadmill in a gym in the city. Actor was shifted to AIIMS, and he underwent angioplasty. He was on Ventilator for mor than a moth. After showing improvement in health, Raju’s health deteriorated earlier this week. Earlier his cousin had disclosed about the actor suffering heart attack while exercising.

Srivastava’s cousin Ashok Srivastava had earlier confirmed that he had suffered a heart attack while exercising.
“He was doing his routine exercise and while he was on the treadmill, he suddenly fell down. He suffered a heart attack and was immediately taken to the AIIMS hospital,”Raju’s cousin on cause of his death

From doing small roles in movies like Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar, Bombay to Goa and Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya to his first success at TGILC, it has not been easy. Currently he was working current chairman of the Film Development Council Uttar Pradesh.
