Ever since Salaam Venky’s Trailer released, the audience are hooked onto for further updates. Kajol as usual is at her best and Vishal Jethwa also doesn’t fail to impress. However, it is Aamir’s cameo in the end that has excited netizens.

Salaam Venky’s Trailer released on November 14, and needless to say it was powerful. Although, it is not hidden how talented and versatile Kajol is, Vishal Jethwa who plays her son was compelling too. With a perfect script written so beautifully, the movie is bound to catch up and last with people for a long time. Although Revathy’s Salaam Venky stars Kajol and Vishal as leads, Aamir Khan’s Cameo appearance triggered excitement amongst the fans. However, the trailer does not reveal the role Aamir Khan is playing. Revathi had this to say about Aamir Khan’s cameo in Salaam Venky.

During the trailer launch Revathy opened up on Aamir Khan’s Cameo Appearance in the movie. Mentioning about the star’s reaction on doing just a small role she revealed his excitement.

“Aamir Khan was very sweet. He just said he wanted to read his scenes. We sent the scenes, he read them, and he said he is doing it. This was all over the phone.”

“Later, we did a narration with him. It is written so well and beautifully by Sameer and Kausar and he told us that not even one word will be changed and he will do it as it is.”

Salaam Venky’s Star Cast

Besides the duo of Kajol and Vishal, Salaam Venky also has Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, and Aahana Kumra. The movie is slated to release on 9th December 2022 and is based on the book The Last Hurrah by Shrikant Murthy. It tells the story of Venkatesh and his mother Sujata. Venkatesh suffered from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) and passed away in 2004. Film maker Revathy revealed that the movie also dealt with Euthanasia or Mercy Killing. Movie has drama, emotions, laughter and an epic dialogue from the movie ‘Anand’, “Zindagi Badi Honi Chahiye Lambi Nahi.” Needless to saying the movie is emotional and inspiring.
