Tum Bin actor Himanshu Malik recently Himanshu revealed Bollywood secrets. Speaking of his time in Bollywood, the actor recently revealed about the dark side of the Indian movie Industry and how it works. He remembered how it asked him to have an affair to stay in the news and business.The actor played one of the three leads in the movie disclosed that some magazine publication asked him to have an affair as famous as him to stay in the news.

Making his debut in Bollywood Industry with Mira Nair’s Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love in 1996, he has since featured in many movies like Tum Bin and Khwahish in 2003 in which played the lead opposite Mallika Sherawat. Besides he also acted in movies such as LOC Kargil, Rakht, Rog, Rain, Koi Aap Sa and Yamala Pagla Deewana among others. Also the actor expressed his shock over the Bollywood reality. “I got a glimpse of how the industry is soon after Tum Bin and it disturbed me a lot. That was a time when magazines used to be huge. Himanshu revealed Bollywood secrets as he shared an incidence of a publication House call to him, asking me to have an affair. ‘If you have an affair with an upcoming actress, it makes for a good story’, I was told,” Himanshu told Navbharat Times in an interview.
Himanshu first feature Chitrakoot in 2018-19
Himanshu released his first feature movie Chitrakut in 2018-19 in the country on May 20. It features Auritra Ghosh, Vibhore Mayank, Naina Trivedi, Kiran Srinivas, and Shruti Bapna. He himself is the writer and the Director of the movie. Earlier he turned a filmmaker in 2012 and produced a short film For those who don’t know, Himanshu started his career with music video and has even featured in Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s Afreen with Lisa Ray. He has also appeared in Sonu Nigam’s Deewana with Sandali Sinha.

He shot for his first feature film Chitrakut in 2018-19 that went to film festival and also won awards. It’s slated for a theatrical release. “It’s a relationship drama about love, companionship and transmission it creates. We shot it in Goa, Mumbai and Pune. The city’s name has been used as metaphor as a symbol of love, as per the mythology. It a young cast who have been around and doing some really good stuff.”Additionally he spoke about the pressures on Filmmakers these days. Recently the actor turned filmmaker talked about the challenges in filmmaking. “Today the world is one big marketplace. So, that puts a lot of pressure on traditional filmmakers. I find some of these Hindi films very boring and painful! I have tried to put my film in one visual-scape so it’s like a song. I hope people would love it.” He added.
