Rajamouli’s Epic Movie RRR Wins Critics Choice Award

The movie won Best Foreign Language Film and the Best Song Award respectively at the 28th edition of Critics Choice Awards.

Rajamouli’s Cinematic Marvel ‘RRR’ continues to impress both International Jury and Critics alike. RRR extended its dream run at the 28th Critics Choice Awards. Continuing its dream run, the magnum opus action movie bagged two more awards at the recently held Critics Choice Awards. It was a proud day for the Indians after the movie won the Golden Globe Awards for the song ‘Naatu Naatu’. And now the song has bagged the Best song award at the recently held Critics’ Choice Award. Not only that, it added another glorious feather on the cap after the movie also picked up the Best Foreign language film in a ceremony held in Los Angeles. The Twitter handle of Critics Choice Award congratulated the cast and crew of the movie.

It has been raining awards for the team Rajamouli. ‘RRR’ took to their Twitter account and shared a video which they captioned, “Naatu Naatu Again!! The team expressed their emotions on winning the award. Extremely delighted to share that we won the #CriticsChoiceAwards for the BEST SONG #RRRMovie Here’s @mmkeeravaani’s acceptance speech!!” The composer of the Naatu Naatu song MM Keeravis heard saying in the video expressed his emotions.

“Thank you so much I am very overwhelmed with this award. I am here to receive this wonderful award by the critics. Thank you all the critics, on behalf of my chorographer, lyrics writer, my singers, my programmers and ofcourse my director.”

RRR Story, Cast and Crew

RRR is a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan and Jr NTR played lead roles, respectively. The movie collected over Rs 1,200 crore worldwide. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran also starred in the film. This lyrical composition of ‘Naatu Naatu’ by MM Keeravani, high energy rendition by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, unique choreography by Prem Rakshith, and lyrics by Chandrabose are all the elements that make this ‘RRR’ mass anthem a perfect dance craze.
