Indian celebrities including R Madhavan, Nawazuddin, Shekar Kapoor grace the red carpet
Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur led Indian Star Delegation arrives at the Cannes 2022. The delegation gained all the attention as they posed for the cameras at festival. The festival is considered as one of the major film festivals in the world, it began amidst glamour from over the world. Indian celebrities gracing the festival included R Madhavan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Ricky Kej, Vani Tripathi, Prasoon Joshi and Shekhar Kapur. Although Akshay Kumar was also suppose to join the event but had to cancel plans being Covid 19 positive. Other celebrities likely to join include Nayanthara, Pooja Hegde, Tamannaah Bhatia and folk singer Mame Khan.
Indian Star Delegation arrives, India named country of Honour at the Cannes
India has been named the ‘Country Of Honour’ at this year Cannes 2022. Sharing his pride in the honor bestowed he tweeted Anurag Thakur reads, “A historic moment as India the 1st ‘Country of Honour’ at Marche Du Films @Festival_Cannes gets set to manifest into the ‘content hub of the world and the preferred ‘post production hub’ for global film makers.”
AR Rehman and other Indian Celebrities posted pictures from the festival

AR Rehman promotes his directorial debut Le Musk at Cannes
Music Legend and Oscar winner AR Rahman also shared pictures from the event and also posed with various celebrities. AR Rahman is at the Cannes for the premier of the movie Le Musk. A virtual reality movie, the movie is a collaboration of many hands from around the world. It is a 36 minute movie about an orphan girl who wants to look for men who put her in the state. The story is set twenty years ahead when the girl seeks to find them.
Deepika Padukone stars in Sabyasachi outfit
Indian actress attended the ceremony in a Sabyasachi’s Sari. Deepika is this years jury member and being one of the four women selected is nothing less than a milestone.
