Dhoom 2 turns 15. As the movie celebrates the milestone, it is worthwhile to mention the contribution of actors. Both Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan were at their best the movie Dhoom 2. While Hrithik looked like a Greek God, Aishwarya Rai won hearts of millions through her songs Crazy Kiya Re from the same movie in 2006. Hrithik and Aishwarya played the leads in the movie and saw Abhishek in the supporting role. Sanjay Gadhvi’s movie was a hit and the Audience were bowled over by Aishwarya’s and Hrithik’s sizzling chemistry.

Since the actress gained extra weight during the shooting of Guru, the producer Aditya Chopra suggested Aishwarya to lose weight. Considering she had to do Bikini scenes, the actress actress slashed some kilos for the role. Besides Hrithik, Aishwarya and Abhishek , the notable actors playing the part are Vikram, Nayanthara, Amala Paul, Karthi, Jayaram Ravi, Keerthy Suresh, Jayaram, among others.

Ask Shiamak why he thinks it has transcended time and he says, “The reason it resonates with the youth today is because the movements are still very current and fresh. I think the choreography which I did was anyway something very unique and not very regular, even for that time.”
