However, the Censor Board intervened in-between, and the movie finally released. However, the negative publicity has seemed to work for Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. Some of the best scenes of the movie Pathaan have been shot in Dubai. Some of the scenes were so risky that they had to cordon the area around Burj Khalifa, the tallest man-made structure in the world.
Since its release, the movie continues to break records. There’s been just no stopping for the SRK, Deepika and John Abraham starrer ‘Pathaan’ at the worldwide box office. The film released in Hindi, worldwide, grossed an estimated Rs 656 crore in eight days at the overseas box office. Also, the collections from all other formats take the film’s overall total to an estimated Rs 670 crore. With these numbers, the film has now become the highest grosser of all time.

Director thanked Dubai Police for the execution of the action scenes
Police could not have been more co-operative as they released the circulars in the city about closing of the Boulevard. One of the director’s friends who lives in the city confirmed this. Furthermore, he added that he felt humbled for what they did for the movie.
