As expected the Top Gun: Maverick’s premiere is expected to be highly energized and power packed. Long before the premiere started, the crowd ensured to make the evening memorable for the superstar. And they did. The actor received a roaring ovation from the Cannes crowd as he received a surprise Palme d’Or catching him off guard.

All the Episodes of Panchayat2 released online two days ahead. Yesterday all eight episodes got leaked on Amazon’s OTT streaming platform. Panchayat 2 is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and has Jitendra Kumar in the lead role. In addition to Jitendra, the web series also has actors Neena Gupta and Raghuvir Yadav in the second season.

The actress candidly spoke about her journey from the start to this date. Speaking further she said “I feel we have a long way to go as a country, I feel really proud to be here as an Indian and to be representing the country. But when we look back at 75 Years of Cannes, I have said earlier also that there have been only a handful of Indian films, and Indian talent that have been able to make it and I feel like collectively as a nation today we have it.”

One has to admit that leaving a group in Whatsapp is one of the most annoying task. Reason underlying this is simple and obvious. When a user decides to leave the group, the entire group gets a notification, the person left. At times it gets awkward as one ends up into unnecessary reasoning. Especially if it is a family group, it could lead to unwanted pressures to join back again. This problem is not limited to whatsapp only, but also on other instant message apps. However, with the whatsapp new feature, it allows users to exit whatsapp silently without letting anyone know.

Although the feature is still under development and shall be coming in the near future. So now if a user leaves the group, it shall only inform the group admins of the exit. With the feature under testing, it is most likely to come to all the devices once the update comes out in a couple of months. Additionally, whatsapp also includes rich link in status updates. According to WABeta, the apps latest Beta versions generate link previews. Also the new link previews are more detailed than the semi-previews one sees on the android app.

Thane Police on Saturday arrested Marathi actor Ketaki Chitale. A case was registered against her for allegedly sharing a ‘derogatory’ post. It was about NCP president Sharad Pawar on social media platforms.

The post in Marathi, shared by her on Friday, purportedly, someone else has written it. It mentioned the surname Pawar and the age of 80. The content piece contained phrases like “hell is waiting” and “you hate Brahmins”, allegedly referring to Pawar. As a matter of fact, the party shares power in Maharashtra with the Shiv Sena and Congress currently.

The crime branch of the Thane Police arrested Chitale (29) from Navi Mumbai. “The Kalwa police station in Thane registered the offence against Chitale on Saturday. The case was based on a complaint lodged by Swapnil Netke,” a police official had said.

In Pune too, an NCP worker filed a complaint and a case against her. On Saturday evening, workers of NCP’s women wing threw black ink and eggs at Chitale. The incidence took place outside Kalamboli police station in Navi Mumbai.

505 (2) (making, publishing or circulating any statement, rumour or report promoting enmity, hatred or ill will between classes)

In Dhule also, a case was registered against Chitale and Nitin Bhave. Nitin Bhave is the purported author of the controversial post shared by the actress. It was under similar sections of the IPC. It is including section 34 (common intention), on a complaint lodged by an NCP leader.

Meanwhile, when asked by reporters in Nanded about the episode, Pawar said he didn’t know Chitale. He also had no idea about what she has allegedly posted about him on social media. “I don’t know the person and also have no idea about what you are saying (about the actress’s post),” he said responding to a query.

The NCP chief told reporters that he didn’t know about it. He indeed asked a reporter, “What has she done? What was her complaint (about him)? “The veteran leader further said it would not be right for him to comment on the issue until he learns what the actress had done.

Jubin Nautiyal, a well known singer in the Hindi Film Industry seems to be under attack of misinformation. An email is believed to be sent by a talent management company, Believe. They circulated an email claiming Jubin Nautiyal as their artist. However, Jubin was quick in responding on the matter. He clears the air and issues a clarification disinformation in their e-mailers on signing the versatile singer. He also refutes the claim including him under their talent pool.

Jubin Nautiyal says, “This news is false. It is also misleading and a deliberate misrepresentation on your part to the trade, distributing partners and the general public. This sort of disinformation at my behest to gain some mileage by a company of your stature is absolutely not acceptable. It is also not expected. I have also been advised to point out that this act on your part amounts to misappropriation of my personality rights. It as well as is a tortious interference with my contracts.”

He further adds, With my long standing partners including but not limited to T-Series for films. Regarding music and live, RadF Media for films, IPs and investments are there. Mr. Rocky Khanna is for my live management and Mr. Shivam Malhotra for my business and IP management.”

The versatile singer appeals Believe to immediately withdraw these emails. He also appeals to issue a clarification to all the distribution partners to whom this email has been sent.

He further adds, “Please be informed I am still an exclusive artist with T-Series and have not signed any contract with Believe. I would like you to immediately withdraw these email and issue a clarification to all the distribution partners to whom this email has been sent. Also issue a public statement and apology to this effect.”

The actors there attend workshops and keep on practising and improving their art.” He added, “I would quietly go and enrol myself as a student. And that’s how I understood an actor’s language.
