Studies show that Vitamin D, Omega-3 help to control cancer

Studies have shown that combination of Vitamin D along with Omega-3 and some exercise can limit the formation of cancer cells. Not only does it strengthen ones immunity, but also prevent cancer. Bischoff-Ferrari and her colleagues conducted studies to see the effect of 3 factors high-dose Vitamin D3 , Omega-3 Fatty Acids, and a simple strength exercise, on cancer. The subjects who were selected were aged 70 or more.

Google Pixel plans to enter the Foldable smartphone segment

While other big names have already made a breakthrough, Google is gearing up for a similar entry. While some suggest that the company shall launch the phone this year, others point towards its cancellation instead. Google was working on the launching its first foldable smartphone called the Pixel Fold or Pixel Notepad.

There is no official announcement of a release date, neither there is any news of its cancellation. Since Google has not made any announcement, all news associated are mere speculations. Rumors about the launch date are circulating in the market. While there were many who expected the phone in 2022 during its I/O developer conference, while others assumed the launch was cancelled. The conference is expected on May 11-12 and Google is planning to launch both Pixel 6a phone and Pixel watch at the same time.

There are varying reports on the release date. While Ross Young an industry analyst reported that the company shall start production in Q3’22 and launch in Q4’22. If true, flagship pixel fold launches in October rather than spring. However according to 9to5Google, the phone shall arrive in US earlier. Honestly speaking there are just speculations so far. Google itself has not released any official date as of now. So far the company has not even declared its name. People have started calling it Pixel Fold. According to the 9to5reports, it is called the Pixel Notepad, but also mentions it could be subject to change. However, Google released the internal codenames as Passport and Pipit. Although there is no foolproof evidence that Pixel will ever launch a foldable phone. India announces the biggest ever squad

AICF announces biggest Indian squad. All India Chess Federation ( AICF) announced the country’s biggest ever 20 member squad. India is hosting the prestigious tournament from July 28 to August 10.Two teams shall represent India as they are entitled being the host country. Top players from over 150 countries shall participate in the event. Here are India’s top players who are carrying the baton forward.

First Team

  • Vidit Gujrathi, who led India to gold medal in the 2020 Chess Olympiad,
  • Pentala Harikrishna
  • Chennai-based Krishnan Sasikiran who have represented India on numerous occasions.

Indian contingent comprises of all players who were very impressive during the last year. Naomi Judd inducted into Country Music Hall of Fame

Naomi Judd, the Grammy winning country artist passed away yesterday at 76. She passed away just one day before being inducted into music Hall of Fame. Wynonna and Ashley, Judd’s daughters announced her death in a joint statement to the Associated press. Both Wynonna and Ashley, an actress, wrote on Twitter that they “lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness.”

The incidence happened during the semifinals at the Badminton Asia Championships. Also, she revealed the details of her conversation with the umpire. Umpire told her that she was taking too much time, but the fact is that the opponent was not ready. But the empire gave her the point and it was really unfair. She explained it as a reason for her loss at the championships.
